About Us
Beats N’ Cats was founded in 2024 by owners Vinny and Sydnee Robbins as the realization of a life-long dream. With the help of their four cats, Vinny and Sydnee collect quality records and CDs from around the world to be sold in beautiful Bremerton, WA and record shows around the PNW. Beats N’ Cats specializes in Japanese vinyl and we regularly take business trips to restock our hand curated collection.

Meet Mr. Bingley
Age: 1
Color: White with Orange
Mr. Bingley is a goobery guy. Somehow he is also a kitty genius. It’s a combination that makes him a real handful! Littermate of Mr. Darcy and regular shop kitty.
Meet Mr. Darcy
Age: 1
Color: White with black
True to his namesake, Mr. Darcy feels deeply and loves hard. He isn’t haughty, though. He really likes people and feels very comfortable with strangers petting him. His favorite place in the world is clinging to Vinny’s shoulder. If Vinny is lucky, Mr. Darcy’ll even lick his ear while he’s up there… Littermate of Mr. Bingley and regular shop kitty.
Meet Gleep
Age: 8
Color: Void
So smart it’s scary. She has only been to our shop once, and she *hated* it. So, she gets to stay home each day instead. Gleep is featured on our storefront window in a vinyl design.
Meet Murgatoyd
Age: 8
Color: White
Actually an alien sent to collect information about earth. She will never come to the store because we love her and we know she would be terrified.
In memoriam: Ned
Color: Orange
Ned was so, so loved. Vinny’s soul cat was so dumb, so clingy, and loved his humans with all his heart. He earned many nicknames in his life, such as Nedward, Nedley Lamarr, and Neduardo. We miss him desperately every day. He remains to this day our mascot; he is featured on the Obi Ned design shown on our business cards, stickers, and shirts. He and his littermate Bob were our original shop cats.
In memoriam: Bob
Color: Orange
Bubby was the heart of our household. He was the living embodiment of what it is to be chill and calm. He was a huge cat; he could reach the countertops when he stood on his hind legs. Bubby loved napping on his humans and putting them to sleep with him. He is featured on the Metal Bob shirts and stickers; he enjoyed watching records spin and spent hundreds of hours sitting on our laps while we listened to music. He and his littermate Ned were our original shop cats.
